I’m looking for a new job; does it cost any money to register?
For all jobseekers or candidates, our services are free of charge. This is governed by the Employment Agencies Act 1973 and the Conduct of Employment Regulations 2003.
How do I “register” with ITSS?
Click here Whilst we may not have an active vacancy, we will be pleased to retain your details. Our consultants will be in contact if a suitable opportunity arises.
What sectors do you cover?
We focus upon permanent recruitment and interim contractors within IT, Finance & Accountancy, Marketing and Executive Searches. We do undertake assignments for clients on a broader remit, including Clerical and Administration, Engineering, HR, Legal, Procurement and Supply Chain and Sales.
I have already applied for that role, what do I do?
Immediately inform your designated consultant who will highlight this to our client.
What interview tips can you give me?
If you have secured an interview, we will already have been through comprehensive detail of Job Descriptions, Employer details and your own aspirations. There are numerous websites giving interview tips and techniques, which you can review. Our three key suggested areas are: to demonstrate what you know about the company, to prepare questions to ask – this is your opportunity to find out more and address any reservations, and it goes without saying – never be late! Ultimately any new role has to satisfy both the employer and yourself.
You sent my CV or, I have had an interview, but haven’t heard back from you?
We recognise that this is a major stigma associated with recruitment agencies, the lack of contact. Ultimately we depend upon our client’s feedback and equally yours. Regardless of the outcome, we look to keep you fully informed throughout any application and your designated consultant will be easily reachable.
Can you find me a temporary role?
Whilst we do sometimes have requests from our clients for temporary staff, this is not an area that we routinely cover. Dependant upon the work you are seeking, it maybe that a more generalist high-street walk in agency would be better suited to assist.
