- Role: Payroll Assistant
Location: Chesham
Salary: £25-30k
Responsibilities;
· Full end to end payroll
· Deal with queries relating to salary, deductions, time records and pensions
· Liaison with HMRC
· Uploading & Processing Pensions (Including Automatic Enrolment & Client Queries)
· Ensuring clients meet 3 yearly pension re-enrolment process
· Input pension amendments, process auto enrolment and loading of files
· New starter and leaver procedures to be completed to meet payroll deadlines
· Produce monthly or weekly reports, and ad-hoc analysis to agreed deadlines, including reconciliation of payroll balance sheet accounts such as pension control account, net pay control etc
· Process all statutory payments and deductions including SSP, SPP & SMP
· Perform data entry and analysis related to payroll
· P11Ds (Admin & Submission)
· CIS Suffered & Deducted
Person Specification;
· Experience In Payroll Software (Payroll Manager is preferred, but not essential)
· Advanced excel skills
· Knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and practices
· Excellent organisational and time management skills
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
· Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
